What is Skydiving?
Skydiving is very simple. Strap-on a parachute, get on a aircraft, fly to a certain altitude and then JUMP OFF...One does not need a degree in physic but a definitely need balls the of rock of GIBRALTER.
As they say the first of anything is the hardest same with skydiving. The first step of skydiving is the decisive on. Stepping off an aircraft flying 1 mile above the sea level with nothing but the hope the your canopy will open; definitely justifies my Gibraltar comment.
Static Line Jump - Solo Jump
(Self Jump inclusive of 2-3 days of training)
If Skydiving is on your to-do list and you want the added satisfaction of doing it on your own, then after completing the FJC (First Jump theory Course), you can be jumping solo from 3,500 / 4000 feet using an advanced modern rectangular ram air parachute.
The static line attached to the aircraft on one end opens your static line parachute automatically, It takes about 300 feet before the parachute inflates completely. Once you see open parachute above you. Then it is up to you to handle the parachute on your own! Isn’t it thrilling? Yeah, baby…
Don’t worry ....our Instructors will guide you how to land with help of walky-talkies… The parachute ride will take about five minutes. No previous experience is necessary and it takes just 8 hours of parachute lessons to prepare you for your first solo static line parachute jump !!!
Tandem Jump
A Tandem Skydive is the quickest and easiest way to experience the exhilaration of being in freefall! Tandem jumping allows first-time jumpers to experience the thrill and excitement of the sport without the preparation and knowledge required for a solo jump.
The student wears a harness, which attaches to highly qualified tandem instructor’s parachute system... The instructor controls the jump from the exit to opening and landing, The pair exits the aircraft for a controlled freefall of up to 45 seconds from around 10000-12000ft above ground level.
The instructor deploys the parachute approximately 5,000 feet above the ground before your parachute is opened/deployed for you to enjoy the views as you fly your parachute back to the ground to land it safely assisted by your TANDEM Instructor. No previous experience is necessary and it takes just 1 Hour to be trained to make the jump! Tandem Jump is a 1-day affair. Participants can come on any weekend days, jump on the same day or leave the next day.
Accelerated Free Fall Jump (AFF)
Accelerated freefall (AFF) is the most advanced contemporary and quickest method of skydiving training. This method of skydiving training is called "accelerated" because the progression in this method is the fastest way to reach the solo free fall stage. Normally the Skydive happens from 10,000 feet "Above Ground Level" (AGL). In accelerated free fall programs, TWO instructors jump with the student during their first 2 level AFF jumps, after that only One instructor accompanied the student in the air for training. In the initial levels, the instructors hold on to the participant until the participant makes practice pull 3 trials & deploys their own parachute.
The AFF instructors have a physical connection with the participant to the extent of their grip on him. So once the parachute is deployed, the instructors fly away and deploy their own parachutes.
Added Safety regulation in India by (SPA):-
01 Static Line Skydive Jump is mandatory before undergoing AFF Skydive Jump. This enhances the safety of the student Skydiver by taking away 50% of his worries/ sensory overload pertaining to the Parachute Flying and Landing Aspects thereby adding more Thrill quotient with a sense of Safety.
